Why the method section is not optional
The commercial case for this work rests on a claim that answer engines disagree with each other, and that the disagreement is contestable. That claim is worth exactly as much as the sampling behind it.
Citation practice
Sources are listed with a stable label and a link where one exists. Where a figure came via secondary reporting rather than the primary document, the piece says so, because a number repeated through three intermediaries is not the same evidence as one read at source.
